Flying The Piper Warrior!

I Finally posted some video of Becky and I flying the Warrior along the Osage River south of Jefferson City, MO. Becky shot the footage while I just looked like a dufus! However, it was fun and I am keeping up my flying skills until I can earn my IFR rating.

Finished at last!

It took exactly one year, 55 flight hours and a little more than a few bucks but I am officially a private pilot! Thanks to the great folks out at Jefferson City Flying Service and a patient, talented instructor I passed my private pilot checkride on October 24th. Andrew Detjen, my flight instructor is an excellent pilot and has a great personality for training others how to do what he does. I'm looking forward to instrument training in the spring.

Transition

I started flying the Piper Warrior last week. I like it! Great plane and much more room. Becky likes the view in the Cessna (high wing) but the elbow room of the Warrior. I hope to post some pictures or video soon.
